One of my favorite days at IGEMS (it's hard to pick just one :-), is shopping at the Christmas store. I was amazed my first year here that we do this tradition. I think it is wonderful! I thoroughly enjoy watching and listening to my students pick gifts out for the special people in their lives. They put so much thought into it. This event gets me into the true Christmas spirit. We ask each student to bring in
50 cents to donate to the wonderful first graders who make this event happen. Each student gets to pick out two gifts. Please have your
50 cents in as soon as possible, and no later than Tuesday, December 8. 'Tis the season!
